The manin entrance was coverd in flags and themeing ready for the event and looked great a much better effert then thorpe. The whole of towers street is coverd in pumpkings and scarecrows which looks great. All rides were walk on at the end of the day which made it a great day. This was a massive dissapointment as only 2 live actors were there in the que line area. If the park filled the station with smoke or done some extra little bits in there then could of made it worth while but with all the publicty of it itwasent worth all the hype. The 4 mazes were great as always but the park was lacking themeing everywhere, Some rides did make a effert but the park was just bare. The RCCGB went to wales to Oakwood park to sample Megafobia and its other rides also with camping throwen in. The sunday of the trip was a trip to Carters steam fair in Weston super mare. The sea life centre has undergone a £5 million poud development by merlin entertainment group and has now transformed the place into one of the best seal life centres in the UK. The shark walk is a first in the UK and it where you walk on a pain of glass abouve some 50 sharks and fish. This is a very strange feeling as you walk out on to the glass with a man eating shark just incehs away from you. The sea life centre is open all year round and can be found next to the London eye. The Shard tower is going to be the biggest sky scrapper in euroupe and the tallest public viewing area in europe to. The tower will include the highest garden and the highest restaurant in the UK. The tower is going to be over 1,000 feet and has 45 lifts in its tower. The tower is due to open in 2012 with groud work already begun. Please see links for me details and pictures. The park was great as always with some great rides there. The new log flume I think was fantastic with some great features on the way. The rotherum coaster was next and what a great coaster it was and even better it was only 60p to ride. The ride does 3 or 4 laps round and was worth every penny. The park had a few little childrens rides and a arcade. The park is getting a brand new swimming pool added. All pictures can be found on my other site. The small park has a small catapiller coaster and many of American adventures old rides like the ballons and the wagon wheel. Bridlington was the last on the list. There was a great selection of spin and spews and there was a small runaway train coaster. A fantastic little park next to the sea front. All pics can be found on my other site. The wheel at 33 meters high is Gloucesters biggest wheel and goes round 3 times for its duration. £3.50 per person. The windsor wheel has also returned for the 2009 season after many great years. The 66 metre high wheel sits proud next to Windsor castle. World tourist attractions has many wheels around the world from paris to brussles. The team this year Andy p, Andy w, Andy k, Mary and kev all rode the ride from 10am till 5pm. Over 100 rides were done and loads of moaney collected for the charity. A big thank you to all those who donated online and on the day well over £500 was raised. The next charity event is at Drayton manor park on June the 14th. ]]> Mon May 11 2009 Crealy and Teignmouth pier http://smilers-photos.fotopic.net/c1688888.html A day was spent in Devon trying out the Go gator at Teignmouth and the runnaway train coaster at Crealy. The go gator on Teignmouth is a fantastic go gator has no problem taking 5 adults at all. The manager made us feel very welcome and let us have a few laps for free plus a picture for there local pier. A great little stop of to do this coaster for any go gator fan or coaster ticker. Crealy has changed alot over the many years since I last visted here but it has got alot better and now have a coaster to. The park is a small family park but had a adventure playground to which was for adults to. All pictures can be found on my other site. Please see link for details.
